The Australia Financial Complaints Authority helps individuals and small businesses to resolve complaints about financial products and services. We are the financial ombudsman.

Our service is a fair, free and independent alternative to court.

We're reaching out to let you know that we have just launched improved online resources in languages other than English to make it easier for people from diverse communities to access financial dispute resolution.

These resources include a series of videos featuring AFCA's people speaking their own first language almost a third of our staff were born overseas.

About the resources

In 20 languages AFCA provides:

  • information about our service, the types of complaints AFCA can consider and how to contact us using the interpreter service
  • downloadable complaint and feedback forms; and
  • four key brochures covering: how to lodge a complaint, a guide to financial difficulty, a guide to conciliation conferences and tailored information for small businesses.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about the work we do at AFCA, please contact our team via email.
