Oz Harvest The first Harvest of 2021 A new year and a new website

Dear All,

As we enter into 2021 I want to share my wishes of hope, resilience and continued growth with you all. The last 12 months will shape this new year in unique ways for each of us. For OzHarvest, we remain dedicated to feeding those who are going without and committed to our national goal of halving food waste by 2030.

Symbolic of a new year and new beginnings is our refreshed website. We updated our site to make it easier to find food relief, with a new geo-located search service https://www.ozharvest.org/food/receive-food-individuals/ . For those wanting to join us in our mission to Nourish our Country, we have provided ways to do so, including how we can all start reducing food waste at home. https://www.ozharvest.org/sustainability/   I'd like to thank all those in the OzHarvest family and beyond who designed, built, tested and challenged us to create this new platform in order to connect and share our story.

I thank you for continuing to support OzHarvest and I look forward to sharing our impact with you this year.

With gratitude,

Ronni Kahn AO, CEO & Founder

Australian Red Cross Australian Bushfires report

We've just released our latest report on the practical, emotional and financial support that your donations have provided to bushfire-affected communities. We are humbled by the quiet tenacity of those who endured the fires and forever grateful for the generosity of so many people that made all of this support possible. Recovery is a long journey and Red Cross teams will continue to support people over the coming years.
