Have a client struggling to pay their energy bill specifically affected by the Pandemic? FCA want to hear from you

ABC 7.30 are hoping to interview people who have struggled to pay their energy bills (gas, electricity), specifically those affected by the pandemic in some way (someone who may have lost work, for example). They'd also really like to include the perspective of someone who has deferred their payment. If you know anyone who has had these kinds of experiences and would be willing to speak about it, please get in touch with Director of Community Engagement at FCA, Maura Angle, at maura.angle@financialcounsellingaustralia.org.au.

Drought Community Support Initiative

The Federal Government has asked the St Vincent de Paul Society and The Salvation Army to participate in the disbursement of available funds to drought affected Local Government Areas (LGAs). Each eligible LGA has been allocated to one of these agencies.
