New scams module and translated handouts

ANZ’s MoneyMinded is a flexible financial education program to help adults enhance their money management skills, knowledge, and confidence. ANZ has recently launched two exciting new updates to the MoneyMinded program.

Scams module

MoneyMinded now has a new module to help you support your clients to identify and protect themselves from scams.

The new module includes an animation, prompt cards, coach guides, and participant handouts to use with your clients. The module covers:

  • what is a scam?;
  • spotting scams;
  • protecting yourself;
  • scams support;
  • investment scams;
  • dating and romance scams;
  • phishing;
  • remote access scams;
  • and employment scams.

Translated handouts

ANZ has also translated the 31 most popular MoneyMinded participant handouts into Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Farsi, and Vietnamese. This is an important step in breaking the language barrier to financial wellbeing, which you can read more about in this article on Bluenotes.

If you’re already an existing MoneyMinded coach, you can log in to the MoneyMinded Hub to access the new scams module under the Rights and responsibilities unit or the translated handouts on the Support page.

If you’re interested in becoming a MoneyMinded coach, enquire with ANZ at MoneyMinded@anz.com. Becoming a MoneyMinded Coach is free and gives you access to more than 150 financial education coach guides and participant resources to use with your clients
