DOMESTIC & FAMILY VIOLENCE TRAINING - NT Members Only
PART 2 (part 1 held on Wednesday 4 August)
Central Australian Women's Legal Service (CAWLS) is offering two free training sessions on Identifying and Responding to Domestic and Family Violence.
The sessions are designed for the service sector with case studies tailored for financial counsellors and financial capability workers.
Participants are encouraged to attend both sessions.
With a focus on identifying and responding to disclosures of domestic and family violence, participants will:
Strengthen understandings of the nature and dynamics of family violence;
Understand obligations around mandatory reporting for DFV and child protection;
Gain insight into the legal responses to domestic and family violence including family and domestic violence orders; and
Discuss screening, risk management and referral pathways and safety planning.
